Re: CWrisley's Baja (Now a 4 Seater)
Got some more done on the baja....
After a day at MB Fab in Poway, I got my PRP bench mounted. Now my boys have a safe spot to ride. Had to trim a little bit of sheet metal out to get it to fit. I'll have pics up soon. Traded the fuel cell for the bench. Brand new, never used.
Motor is torn down to get all the fuel out after the Thanksgiving fiasco. Should be back together by Saturday.
Scored some 3x3's this week as well. Can't wait to get 'em on. Probably hold off on coilovers and just pick up some Fox shocks with resi's and a stiffer torsion. Once its all collected, it will all go on!
AND....the most exciting news is the beginning of a new project in my garage.....volksrod!! '69 hack-a-vert that getting slammed to the ground and extended 10". Gonna chop the windshield frame about 4", shave the door handles and door lines/hinges. Gonna be siiiick!!

Four seater!!
Tied to the torsion tube, please excuse all the sand!!
Plenty of head room for my boys
Enough leg room to buy me a few years before I HAVE to get a buggy

The battery actually slides out under the bar with about 2 inch clearance. Just a bad pic.bajaherbie wrote:can you still remove the battery? trap door from below?

A Motorcraft(Ford) battery?
Henry(Ford) would be smiling seeing his product in a german car.

So we know about the green machine...
We know about the rail...
We know about the smuff that shows up every now and again.
...but I spy a baby blue convertible out the window.
Care to explain? Are you holding back on us?

Re: CWrisley's Baja (Now a 4 Seater)
Sad day for the baja. It's up for sale. I know I have threatened to sell it in the past, but due to some "recent developments" (and no, she's not pregnant again) i'm forced to let her go.
