Differences in Flywheels
Hot, humid air is less dense than cooler, drier air. This can allow a golf ball to fly through the air with greater ease, as there won't be as much resistance on the ball.

Pulling
One big mistake is often made when pulling the VW flywheel. See -> http://www.1800vw.bizhosting.com/flywheelpuller.htm
If the VW flywheel shows hot spots (most Do) then forget about resurfacing them as they will wear uneven because the hot spots are harder then the rest of the surface.

vicsvw Thanks for the link and that is some good info. How big should the bolt be in the middle of the puller? I didn't see where it said what size to use.

Size matters ?
The bigger the better. We used about 1" but just use what you have. If it's 1/2" or smaller you might need to replace it some day. Most pull fairly easy so it's no big deal. Vic
