Hot, humid air is less dense than cooler, drier air. This can allow a golf ball to fly through the air with greater ease, as there won't be as much resistance on the ball.

The 73 tranny is a SSC (Single Side cover) and uses the late model throwout bearing and has the larger cross shaft. you you can not switch to the early style TO.
So you have to remove the centering ring for it to work.

well that worked not sure if my three finger 6v flywheel is going to hold up, thank u guy u really dont know how much u helped me just pray that everything says together if this i can get this engine to run ill buy a new pressure plate lolU GUYS ARE THE GREATEST

I had a pressure plate that had a center ring that was not removable. I called Denny at Savannah clutch and the one that he had in stock had a centering ring and it was not removable either. Hedrock sent me a ring to get me going. I had a new pressure plate that needed the centering ring.Glenn wrote:

the only thing im worried about is my pressure plate is a three finger instead of a multi finger but the center ring came out with no problem and lined right up hoping that the three finger doesnt mess up the TO bearing. have a buddy in cleveland Tn and he said that the 6V pressure plate has two different ones and didnt know if the one i have will work. so im thinking the worst thing to happen is it will mess up my TO bearing and and i will have to order a new clutch and pressure plate and lose bout a hour of work

The 3 finger style pressure plate shouldn't be a problem. As in messing up the throw out bearing.

guys im back reformated my computer and lost the website. good news we got to bug running today everything is going great so far just got to get the seats in it tomorrow and do a little wiring for the tail lights had to order the whole tail light assm. and i got a couple of wires crossed so im hoping by this weekend i will finally get to drive down the road been working on it slow for two years and its bout to pay off. thanks again guys for all your help
