Seems to be a Homebuilt Veep

I traded a Cavalier with a blown head gasket for this. It was on a trailer that the guy bought, and he had no idea where to start to get it running, but I do!! I just wanted it so I could have something to ride through the woods on my place. Check it out, and if anyone has any idea if it was an actual kit for the beetle, let me know. I have not found anything like a tag on the body, but the pans and 1200 running gear are from a 1965 Beetle.
