Here's the video off the run. Its against a Ferrari 455 BTW and the 2,9 ltr 1303 is street legal in germany and the run is with the 911 cooling fan connected :D

Another full bodied 1303 with glass and all did a 11,8
This one has a 2,6 ltr type 4 engine and was build 25 years ago and has never been apart!!

Image

Who said 1303's and type 4's aren't suited for dragracing

It was a great meeting and the convertible of Richie Webb did another amazing 10,2 !

If you only do one show next year, this is the one, Bug In Europe, last weekend in June, Belgium

Image
Herr Sanchez about to spank his new motor, a personal best of 13.95 followed the following day, and he drove it all the way there and home, uber cool. He also, unexpectedly, won a cool 1/2 Weber IDA trophy for runner up, best cal cool, due to the fact that it's a super cleqan wagen and 'cause he drove it there, raced and drove it home

one of the german or french racers, i think

Image
Richie, taking a break in between oil downs. He also came away with a trophy, fastest car with a 10.26pass!!!!!

Well how bout some details? :D Us type 1 drag racer dooods like that kinda stuff. I know in the t4 world all you need to say is " it gots a type 4" and everyone gets all excited, but come on where is the cam specs or induction, gimme something to make me think, somethin? . As far as who says t4 isn't suited to dragracing, they say it all the time in the Aircooled tech forum  I think t4s are cool, but wouldn't know how to build one that is that fast, so TELL US !! :? F-N fast cars! NEATO!!

Hey Mike,
What makes you think I or 'we' know all the details? This is somebody's else his car if you hadn't noticed...
Besides, I don't think the details would be that shocking. Everything is probably just a bit ... larger

Carbs are Terminators 61 or 62mm, but those in the know would have probably seen that for themselves

Best regards,
Walter

Yep the carbs are 62.

Image

I'm not sure but I think it's a 2.9L typ4. Budget is unlimited, that helps

Image

typ1 or typ4, this car is DAMN fast!!!

Jaycee developed the Terminator 62 carbs.
Shawn Geers bought the concept and I guess the tools from Jaycee.
Today they are still called Terminators but with the addition of II after his updated versions.
They come as 2,4" (61mm) or as 58mm.

Why they happened to end up being called 62 when the throttles measure 61mm, no idea.

Is the budget limited with this team?
I do not know what reference frames you have, but just my Terminators cost me USD 2700.
Bying them at listed 1100 per piece will not include any jets, emulsion....etc.
USD 2700 buys you throttle bodies and a programmable injection, if you happen to want it.
Whatever....I added some polishing and billet airhorns, so in any case, they are eye catching beautiful! Next year we will see if they can help squeeze some power out of a 2732cc.

Hey Mike,
What makes you think I or 'we' know all the details? Well you were there weren't you? I woulda been following that guy around driving him crazy with questions.. :D Yeah, I seen them T2s on there, guess that was a dumb question  I am building a 2800cc myself and am curious about other combos.....
