Your rod length wont help spool up the turbo. The the turbo sizing, header sizing and configuration will either reduce or increase "turbo lag". Too long of a rod will make the motor lazy down low in any configuration. Use a stock LENGTH rod up to 84mm. For a 69 stroke, a Porsche legnth rod will work well.
