Man I'm jealous! Look at all that room for stuff!
Are you going to have to make a trigger wheel to fit that pulley?

So much room 😄 I already have a Bergmann crank trigger package. Now that I have one myself I can probably update the design a little.

Looking Awesome Mario,
Quick question? have you thought about making the plenums in a kit form? I'm getting started on a 64 x 94 engine with a GT 2860RS and currently looking for intake options.

I can sure do that. I can provie as little or as many parts as yo need. I can pre cut everything so only minor fitment would be needed before doing the final assembly as well.

I would at least get the manifolds and plenums welded like the pics. That is NOT an easy weld to do! 2 dissimilar metals and thickness. I really struggled with that when I did mine.

Hi guys,

Spring is here and the roads are begging for rubber!

I received this short video from a friend the other day and I had totally forgot that he filmed the ride. This is with low boost setting, 26psi, fresh MH Dot tires, dry road.

Good times!

Not sure if Wally have posted his video from the 1/8 mile Street Legal event in Norway. He came over for a visit and we had a total blast! The street is quite narrow but luckily for me my car is also quite small so I dont need much space. This is fully legal event, 5000+ spectators and the movie is from the semi final. The break out time is 7.60 and you will be given a warning if you break this once. Twice and you are disqualified. 7.50 or below and you are automatically discualified. I could not let him win so I broke out with a 7.523 even though I was hard on the brakes before the finish line. He also broke out but with 7.625 but not as bad as me. Shame on me! But on the good side it allowed us to cruise back to our rental place and open a beer

Good times Wally!!

Thanks! Keep the questions coming and I will do my best to answer them.

Can? Are you thinking about what cam? His mobile phone I think. If you are thinking about the black meter in front of him that is my oil temp and oil pressure meters that I glued using a heavy hold tape from 3M to the inside lid of the glow box. So when I closed the glow box the car dash looked original.

Street manors was great all things considered. First and foremost, the engine ran very cool and actually too cool so it was hard to get a decent oil temp on it. This is of course due to several things but E85 is certainly one of them. Great oil pressure on all temperatures. The gearing is longer than original so no problems there either. But as you can clearly hear on the video the engine/gearbox was solid mounted so it was rather noisy. And also remember that my turbo was way too big so I could drive all day long without any boost at all. Great fuel economy as well and no polution :)

Low boost setting was 26 psi (wastegate base pressure) and the highest I took the boost when racing 35 psi with still a fair bit more on tap if I needed it. But I never did and I sold the car before it was needed :D
