I would make a box on top of my A2A intercooler and get a big layer of dry ice on it. That would be for drag racing. If I ever get to that point

I run a Flex fuel sensor in the return line. I can't imagine ever getting a change in readings so drastic it would ever hurt the engine. Unless you were running straight E85, then stopped and added 87 octane, then did a launch control race the second you started it back up. I think the most fluctuation I've ever seen in a tank has been .2 of a percent.
Also I can't imagine running a Holset in a mouse motor. Unless it was all out drag racing. Any sort of street use that would have to be a lag monster! Once it came on it would be a wild ride for sure!
I wanted to mention too, at least for me, a 4x6 barrel cooler is working great for me. I think I gave $80 for it new on eBay. Of course I'm not pushing the amount of air the other guys are. I will be lucky to see 220hp at max boost (although I'm shooting for 250hp)!

In a dead head system, it would have to go before the fuel pump or high-pressure side.

Mario do you know if any of these flex fuel sensor is made by GM ( part number if available ) and if they are readily available. I would like to use one with a MS3X system.

Get on ebay and search GM flex fuel sensor, you will get a bunch. They are good. Made in china, just like everything else. New in box, multiple styles available. Find the one that suits the hole you are jamming it into. Should be less than $50.

I finally decided to hand my engine project off to a local engine builder. With all the little issues that kept popping up I was frustrated and getting nowhere quick. And just like that, there is forward progress again! Heads have been chopped, as of yesterday the geometry is being set and my header and new Bergman fan shroud are awaiting the new longblock so I can finally get this journey wrapped up!

What's your deck and final compression going to be???
With a deck of .050-.040 you should be around 9.0-9.4:1......
Must be going to run one o those BIG cams.....

It will just under 9:1 with the edges of the chambers rolled over. Not a big cam, similar to the one I had in my 2L.
