I just received the head Saturday. I'm going to cut it up this week, but unfortunately I will not be able to get photos of it until after the 30th. My wife has the camera in Virginia
Once she gets back I'll get pics up on the thread and get the slice on it's way back to you.

Nate, sorry for how dirty it is, I ran out of Castrol squirt cleaner, and I wanted to get the d*mn thing sent out before another week went by. No rush, just glad it finally got there, I mailed it "Slow Boat To China" Class Freight.

I'm cutting up a 021.101.371 J head,if anyone is interested in pics.
And I'll be cutting up a scrap AMC head when I get it in a few months.

Absolutely great work.
Does you arm still hurt?
What are the odds of cutting an intake manifold and a stub pipe in half to complete the visual of a complete intake and exhaust track?
NEXT:
I have been goofing around with a super flow bench at a friends machine shop. I am finding it pretty darn amazing, when I bolt on a carb w/aircleaner and a stub pipe, Then flow the same head VS no carb and stub pipe. BIG DIFFERANCE as the lift changes VS just flowing a head.
Now I wish I had a wet bench so I could better visually see what happening as the carb butterfly transitions from closed to open.
This weekend I am going to try a couple of velocity stack heighths to see what happens.
If I had the time. I could do this all day...
Cept this is a hobby. My real job kinda pays for the toyZzz
Keep in mind.. I don't know dick. I am just trying to learn another discipline of engine dynamics.
I will always be an amateur. I just want to be a good one.. thats all....
Your work keeps me spurred on...

Nice shots.
The bit with the intake stud would be more towards the center (exhaust pic)
Look to the visible rocker stud (compare to top view showing cuts) and you have the intake.
Numbers would be easier, but it would take away the challenge, eh?
