Re: Trigger wheels
MS doesnt have a scope BUILT IN to show your input and output wave patterns?

Re: Trigger wheels
The trigger log and the beta version on MLV will show what the MS "sees" at the CPU---That's not whats coming off the VR sensor( it goes through a VR zero crossing detector first)SUbuggy wrote:MS doesnt have a scope BUILT IN to show your input and output wave patterns?
IIRC what the video shows is raw signal off a VR sensor...
I would never ~100% trust any piece of equipment to tell me it was doing the right thing...
Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

I don't understand? You don't trust a scope?

Re: Trigger wheels
You misunderstand, I would only 100% trust an external piece of test equipment vs a datalog from internal diags. (response was to SUBuggys question)MarioVelotta wrote:Yes this is raw from the VR sensorPiledriver wrote:IIRC what the video shows is raw signal off a VR sensor...

Re: Trigger wheels
Hey Mario, I moved the missing tooth on my pulley to match the diagram in your email, came out pretty nice, can't tell I welded on it.
Plan to have it running on crank fire before the weekend, wish me luck.

Still going to replace that pulley down the road. Have any trigger wheels left over you can sell?

Re: Trigger wheels
Of course I have more. I'm about ready for my third run. I may narrow the teeth a mm or 2 also. Just to make sure timing at low RPM stays consistent.
