Motors in. didnt fire it up yet.
Found out i need new tie rods.

You can faintly see the STF ORF sticker on the ducktail

Lookin' good. Got plans in the ways of engine cage? Also, I'm rather curious (cause yer car reminds me a lot of mine for some reason) what yer interior is like.

Ive got an engine cage in the garage, painted up and ready to install.
and ill get some interior shots today.

Getting some wireing cleaned up, and just messing around.

update.

Got a bunch of parts

So im tearing that complete motor apart to clean it, then im gonna swith all the parts from my motor to that one, then drop er in.
Then start runnin it hard.

Got my Weber manifold bolted up and ready to go, on the new motor.

taking a couple of carbs tmrw to my dads work, to put them in the parts washer.

Then its time to bolt everything up and get the new motor in

I got everything bolted up on my motor today.

now i just got to get my carb cleaned, and ready.
and get a new cap and points for the dizzy.

Got a FRAM fuel filter($3 at wal-mart

), alot bigger than mine, and cleaner.
swithced em out, and cut my old one out and a little pile of dirt fell out.

put new spark plugs in, and the wires.

switched back to the 34 pict carb, dont feel like waiting on that darn 2bbl.

All im waiting is for that dizzy cap, ordered it from CB 2 days ago, should be in any day now

Get a Wix filter, don't scrimp. Cold weather oil is thick, easy to blow filters. I first started up today I was hitting 80 psi on mine.
