Last weekend i took the cv's serviced the cv's greased and clocked them. But i have one noise cv. when i make a hard right turn and the pasanger tire drops down limit strap pulls tight the inside cv clicks. it is the same cv i had problems with when i had type 2 cv's, and the strang thing is the driver side pulls more angle and doesn't make any noise.

any ideas.

Have you race prepped them? May help with the clearance/clicking issue.

I have one on the driver's side that does that. Never does in a straight line, only while hard cornering. I just let it click away until I get around to race prepping my other set of CV's. One of these days...

i jacked up the car and spun the tires at full drop and there not binding just maken noice when under a load.

They are race prepped . they came off a race car fully polished with cromoly cages. they only had maybe 20 miles on them.

Can the axles be swapped from side to side? If the noise changes sides it just about has to be a problem with that CV.

is it okay to swap cv's around? i thought that they are sorta "directional", meaning once you run it in one direction always run it in the same direction...

drivers side axle cv could also work for the passenger side drive flange cv. and vice versa for the other two.....

this winter i plan on cleaning and re-greasing mine and i was gonna mark them so i would re-install them in the same location......
