50 psi in number 3 cylinder. It holds it, though.

Put air into the cylinder and see if you can hear where it leaks from. It could be a valve or it cound be leaking into the engine case. If it's going into the case you should have noticed an excess of blow-by. Either spitting oil out of the vents or oil coming out of the pulley area.
Have you noticed any detonation on boost???? What timing are you running and at what boost level?????
Any excess blow-by will be a cracked piston and it will be a ticking time bomb. With your loss of compression it could be a broken ring land on the piston.
Pull the top end off.
I consider P/C's to be a maintenance item on a turbo engine. Any detonation will shorten the life of a Hyperteutic piston. $200-$250 for new P/C's are cheap insurance against a destroyed case.

I’m pulling it apart when I get a chance. This all happened when I blew the Intake boot on 1-2. Fixed it and it ran better but had a miss. So simultaneous failures?

It could have gone super lean when the intake boot blew and could have cooked the piston.

I probably won’t be touching my Bug until winter. I have a food truck that keeps me busy. Now we’re getting a small restaurant. Been cleaning, repairing and painting. Don’t know when we’ll open. That’s up to the health department. Life’s a journey!

We passed our health inspection and can open our restaurant. Now I have to make a bunch of inventory.

Working on the food trailer right now. Probably open the restaurant on Wednesday and just do 4-8 with a soft opening.

I bought a chopped bug. Been wanting one forever. I’ll be picking it up sometime in the spring. Has nice lines and was chopped by a vocational school in the 80’s. Been off the road some time now and needs work. Can’t wait to get it.

What's the prognosis on the engine mentioned above???? Did you get a chance to check it out???

It’s sitting. I have zero time. But the chopped bug came up and the price was right. I’m a glutton for punishment. I’ll get to the turbo engine and my C10 needs attention, too. Geez
