Metropoj...find a Haynes manual for 1977-83 Audi 5000. Go to page 99. On page 99 is a diagram of the carb manifold for the 5000 5 cylinder. Part #7 is the manifold pre-heater "biscuit". Looks like a ceramic pincushion. Ray
