T-Shirt Update
Hello all and thanks for keeping this post going.
My wife's Dad passed away last week and put a major hole in my schedule. A sad day. He was a fine fellow.
Initial research on shirts has not been very productive. The artwork I inherited with the site is not good enough to use and recreating it is cost prohibitive. I finally located the original artist who did heve the originals and he will sell me acceptable art, but I have heard nothing back from him and will have to contact him again. (Geez, I wish people would follow through!) Who knows what he is going to charge?
Per a previous comment, I have entered the real world and learned I will probably have to make shirts myself one at a time. Ok, I can fix VW's. I can probably learn to make t-shirts.
So, everyone hold their water a little longer and I'll figure it out.
Regards to all,
doc

Hey Doc, is Stroker 40 Horse not a viable option to produce your shirts?
Stroker sure seems eager to Help!!
By the way to heck with the xxl I'm a big boy and will need xxxl and at least Two..
I can't imagine a $10-15 being all that good. I think you would be better off with a $20-30 quality shirt..
Just my two cents, Bradley

I like the logo but I woudn't buy it... I'd buy a Tshirt if it had some cool vw art and the logo/website was secondary..
doc wrote: The design I'm thinking about is the STF logo at the top of every page of the site with "For Your Aircooled Pleasure" underneath. Pretty straightforward.
What do you think? I'm open to other thoughts. Let me hear from all who have an opinion in the next few days and we'll see what comes up. Thanks.

This t-shirt idea is for those who want to represent their membership, PLUS it may make a few bucks for the site

Why spend your time to do something that is only going to sell a few shirts to few people...
The point I made before with a good piece of art these shirts could raise more money as well as promote the site more effectively...
More numbers more money, More numbers more promotion.. Pretty simple..
It?s the owners call ultimately he?ll do what is best for him and his website.. I?m just putting in my realistic two cents?

UPDATE:
OK, I have the artwork in vector format. I shamed the artist into it by sending him a million whining emails. He finally just gave it to me. Many thanks.
Now, I have to get it blown up and find a good source for the shirts. Then Sue and I will spend our nights making STF shirts. I hope to have something to offer everybody in a few weeks.
Thanks to everybody for their patience.
