I have the same cup holder, but with the cut and turned front end I don't use it much. Coffee still splashes out the little hole in the lid.

I've got a stock beam/torsion bars...no adjusters.

Got all the lights and 90% of the electrical do-dads sorted - pending it doesn't downpour here tomorrow I should button up the stereo stuff and wire in a trailer (THULE box has lights on it) plug in the back.

I'm not a religious man, nor is Dad, go figure with a name like Christopher eh? But anyway, Peter...he's the sinker right? The one that almost walked on water... I'm pretty sure if I brought that up he'd get awfully quiet.

It so happens I used to dive in HS because I couldn't swim worth poop, but I sank gracefully.

The reason I went with the 'school bus' wiper switch is because it cost less than a new stock one...I live in Seattle, don't need A/C very much I'd do it if I lived down that way though.

lol... I haven't touched it for nearly a couple months now I guess... Too cold, been working on three other cars too.

I can't see a need for another kit anytime soon - the front end bits are built like a brick-SH...If I bust them up it's gonna' be the least of my worries. But thanks.

i don't know if you saw the heads up thread, but what would you say the street price is on the Trans Am baja kit?

Someone had a kit for sale up here about a year ago at a VW swapmeet - I think it sold for ~$50...I saw it early in the day and told the guy I'd take it off his hands if it was around at the end of the day, but it was gone.

Well, we've been getting some pretty fair weather around here...so I did something about it. I would have gotten further but it's also race season, and on top of that my buddy borrowed my welder

I started trying to use some Empi or Bugpack nerf bars my Uncle bought years ago, but didn't like them much...ended up cutting one to pieces and playing with them like a puzzle. Then I sad 'eff' it and got to bending some 1" .095"

Good to see some progress Chris! I like the stool prop with oil pump cover shim action. I built tons of stuff using a very similar stool and technique . Nerf bar looks good too. It looks like that fuel tank has been slightly modified...you trying to stuff a full size spare in there??

Weather's been warming up a bit for sure. I've been enjoying a sand shower the last few days, sandblasting some rusty spots on the baja body....what a freakin' mess
