anybody know on the speedo cable?

brought it out again tonight and ran into some more issues. First, the tach is still a little goofy, it reads right while accelerating but once it is idling it reads around 1500 to 2000 RPM

Second, the oil pressure gage reads low at idle (under 10 psi?) but the low pressure light doesn't come on, or even flicker for that matter.
Third, there is a slight negative? camber issue with the rear tires (more wear on the inside than the outside). Should I move all the spacers at the pivot point for the trailing arm to the inside or outside? Currently there is one spacer on either side of the trailing arm pivot.

Well I think I am going to buy a welder today along with some fenders to work towards titling the thing. Does anyone have a good way of attaching the front fenders to travel with the suspension and turn with the wheels? I have discs up front and no backing plates to weld to.

I was thinking to do the fenders just like a prowler. I like the look of the low profile fenders and would really like to mimic that. Machining a plate to bolt to the back would be possible but difficult due to the construction of the spindle.

Welcome back, glad to see you posting again. Check out 2088bob and I think Ricko is doing a street rail, could be wrong on that. I was once but all she got was the money

I haven't been on here in a while so I don't know of this mishap you speak of. I never used the wheel adapters since I got those wheels and disc's from you. I still have to modify the disc's a little so they fit right so right now the calipers are not on, but I should be able to get that taken care of sometime at work, and it will be an easy fix.

Remember you should use proportioning valves when taking your rail in the sand with disks..... 4 wheel brakes when on street and forest.

what i did for fronts, they're a bit wobbly, you need stronger tubing than conduit to be professional looking, and give more clearence than i did. also mine have since been trimmed a lot.

i replacedthe bolts holding in the backing plate with longer ones to have something to bolt to. I don't rember if I had to drill or tap the last few mm to get it to go thru, i thihnk it was predrilled and they whent right in.
