Windshield washer air from spare tire

If you’ve got a STANDARD BEETLE 67-77 get one of these and put the stock unit on the shelf somewhere:

The pressure was low so I mounted a universal washer pump inline that I got at O Reily’s auto parts to give it more pressure.

You can get one for a Super as well. Here's mine.

Sorry to bring up something semi-unrelated, but I just figured this out yesterday. If the tire goes below ~30psi, the wiper fluid no longer shoots.

I filled it up to around 45, and it works like a champ. Hooray.
