Couldn't find pictures of the Tb's...but $250 is an awful lot for a TB. there are jillions in the junkyards that are encrementally larger and could be made to fit....unless yoe is doing something special that is proven. But its worth checking out if it works just right.
$149 for a pair of modified stock valve covers? I can make them not leak for about a $1. Simply seal the gaskets to the valve covers with permatex copper (not to the head). They never slip...they never leak. That stuff has a 600+F heat range. Ray

ok,
I'll leave the throttle body for later. I need to do some calculations. Megasquirt has a nice TB calculator on their site.
So, the heads.... It seems to me that I would need to upsize the valves on the 2.0 liter head just a tad to make this flow better with 2270 displacement.
Your thoughts???

I've no idea on the valve sizes--I would assume (read that: ass U me) that upsizing them would have a similar effect to going with more lift on the cam. Probably would have some effect, but the question is how much? Would you get to "too much"? Dunno...
Brad Anders has some info on how to keep the one adjustment in the MPS from moving when you mess with the other. http://members.rennlist.com/pbanders I'm not sure if you've been all through his site yet. Very worthwhile if you're thinking about using D-jet in any way at all!!
Throttle body--a friend of mine has bored the stock one out, and also constructed one from a single billet. He wrote up a little about it at http://members.rennlist.com/chuxter/ThrottleBody.htm .
