Hi Hank

Phone Bow-Wow in Surrey, They use a guy who balances vw engines.

I think it was $150.00

I am going to get mine done
when that time comes

Thanks for letting me figure it out rather than just explaining it Image It took me a few more times, but I got it (dang homework is starting to get to me).

I still think that even if it's not turning crazy rpms it would benefit from balancing. Yeh, it'll run like they all did from Germany, but a balanced engine will run smoother, longer, and quieter, you can't argue that.

He works out of a detached garage by his house and all he does is balance engines and components. He is familiar with aircooled engines and he does run a clean operation. He charged me $100 to do the rotating components.
