Thanks for the kind words Eric. I checked out your Imp but my PCs having an off day and didn't want to open the photo; I'll try again later as I love Imps.
Yes, the Manx is all my own work including the chassis shortening, engine build, wiring etc.. Manx kits are made under license in England; mine was the second one out of the mould in Nov.'99, the tangerine color is gel-coat. Sometimes I think I'll add a few bits to it; sidepods or a hard-top maybe but then I take another look at it and leave it as it is; simple, minimalistic and understated. I love it!!!

I was 16 when I saw my first Sterling. It was trashed, but to me it was wonderful. I saved for four years and then bought one. I found someone with '76 Sterling mostly mounted on a '71 pan. (funny thing, I am only two years older than the car) It was in perfect shape, but not finished. I finished building it, and then did the fun task of getting it legal here in California. It then became my daily driver. After all, what good is a car that you do not drive. Oh, and it was a cheep car to drive to college.

Here's my '57 Speedster replica!! Powered by a full-flowed, dual 44-IDF Weber fed 2110-cc with my own 911 engine fan shroud design. The car stops on a dime thanks to the rear and front 356B drum brakes. Authentic 356A Porsche parts throughout. It's a blast to drive and it really attracts alot of attention!!

They are replica Porsche Cup 2 alloys. 9"x17" with 255x50x17 on the rear and 7,5"x17" with 205x50x17 on the front. I had to use 1" thick adaptors to get them to fit.

This is my nova, unfortunatly its decidedly unfinished. Specs so far are a 1600CC cvh motor, type1 transaxle on a 69 pan. Radiator is up front in the spare wheel well, and its got a heater! Bodyshell has been stretched a bit in the engine bay to accomodate a larger motor.
Im not happy with it though, ive decided the bug chassis has to go, along with the previous builders ideas of subframes (hacksaw engineering company built it I think)! cue order large lengths of steel tubing...
