turboing a non-turbo rotary is not a good idea. good recipie for wankel soup.
just be aware turbo rotaries are not long lived motors. expect about 50,000-60,000 for a stock turbo wankel and a built up turbo wankel is basicly a hand grenade (could go at any time).
NA wankels are VERY reliable even when built up. the trick to keeping a rotary alive is to prevent detonation at all costs. one ping is all it takes to blow an apex seal. NA rotaries aren't prone to detonation but turbo ones are quite prone to it..
an outboard engine would suck in any car. they are 2 cycle engines and the powerband is completely off for automotive apps.
