How low many inches or cm's did you lower the speedster?

I was running a standard 1200 bug trans initially, not really surprising that it didn't last long!
I haven't measured how much I lowered my suspension, but with the old trans and running the equivalent of stock bug ride height (slight positive camber) I have about 5" ground clearance to the bottom of the sump. I raised the trans about 5" and lowered it a bit less than this to maintain ground clearance (car is daily driver and there are speed ramps at work!). I am running fully adjustable coil-overs at the rear so it is all tuned to taste/practicality.
