Good to know, I believe I have a similar bolts on my racecar that has a swing on it with same size FW. But I will be sure to check the clearance. Might be easier to just fine some bolts with countersunk heads.

As per Pile, the T1 trans has a pocket for the bolt heads. If you look at the starter location and the size of the starter gear teeth, you can see where it will mesh with the flywheel & therefore the amount of clearance to the bellhousing,

I've got counter sunk bolts in it now. Certainly looks cleaner with them.

Went thru the gears today, mainly to check is the reverse switch was working, it is not. (Switch on order) But also to see if the shifter/gate was adjusted correctly. It seems to be good, although I was turning the input shaft by hand. Reverse is where it is supposed to be and it gets progressively harder to turn as I went up a gear, all the way thru 5th. So, waiting for the switch and await the motor to be assembled. Lot's of time for that.
