Re: Just wanna say hi and my upcoming build
I reinstalled my DRD 40X37.5mm heads this last spring. I haven't beat on it due to the Cali trip I took this last summer and then the weather turning to crap in early September.
I hope to work on the performance side of things this summer but it might change...It is kind of nice having a reliable driver.......I'm pretty happy with how it runs as it is.
Changing to the big valve heads and upgrading the intake system did change how my engine runs.....I just haven't pursued it much at this time. I also upgraded to 60# injectors along with my secret upgrade coming this winter will be another change.......

Re: Just wanna say hi and my upcoming build
Sounds like it may be time for a nice counterweighted crank. You have the 90.5/92 mm bore heads, unshrouded good size valves, and those 1.25 rockers should really let it breath. I bet you could turn it a solid 1000 rpm more than before and really make power. And Mario said I'm out of the efficiency range of that turbo at 28 psi so surely you are too. Time to step that up too! Then you should really make some big numbers!
Although, you would surely need to get some bigger injectors then too. You should really nearly max out those 60# already.

"heittää löylyä" = "throw water on to sauna stones
"minä heitän löylyä" I'm throwing water on sauna stones
And make sure the sauna is atleast 80°C hot before going in to get the true finnish experience!

I'm not sure what a 13C is, but it should be the same size as the rest of our 13's. You will love it!

For ignition I ordered 123 TUNE+ distributor. Hope that works well

Re: Just wanna say hi and my upcoming build
Hey again! Do you guys have any good advice for me to start learning on tuning my ignition? I recently got the 123Ignition TUNE+ distributor so I need to do my own ignition curves. Any advice is welcome because I have zero experience on tuning "modern" stuff haha
Engine specs:
Mahle 87mm cylinders and forged pistons
Engle TCS-20 camshaft
CB Super-Duty aluminium pushrods
Engle Hi performance lifters
TD04-13C turbo & Solex ADDHE 40 carb draw through
Slightly ported heads and DIY intake manifold
Everything else is stock
Also I just got my interior painted. Next up is removing the rear apron.

What is the interface? IE how do you set your curve?

That’s mine though i have water methanol injection.
I would start conservative maybe 18-20 degress and work up listening for detonation.
