But the compression numbers are very encouraging
The rusty valve springs concern me (definitely increases the odds of breakage) but not enough to pull the heads to replace them. It is possible to replace them with the heads on, but that's getting into the "turd-polishing" zone.

Obviously that motor's had a lot of moisture inside for a long time, who knows what else that may have affected? - it could toss a rod next week.

Havent decided if I will run it or pull it apart yet. I will be putting the verts engine back in the Ghia for now, since I am downing to vert for rust repair panels.
