The Tech Inspector in me has a question or 2 on the cage and other safety features...LOL

What ya got for me? Nothing wrong with a 3000lb car and .065x1 1/2" mild steel cage that's been trigger welded running straight co2 and the whole car is single sheered into the pan utilizing Chinese grade 5 bolts with used nylocks. I even ran my fuel vent up, over and down the cage. To help keep it from flopping around I zip tied it to some tube that was next to the motor...I think it was chrome and kinda blue by the motor and 1 5/8". Hope that's a safe one to ziptie to.

- What brand of fence pipe is that cage made from?

- Where'd you get the rope for the seat belts?

- Did you get those bolts from one of those "Yerf-Dog" buggies"? Or are they from one of the Chinese quads? They break off real quick!

- Did you make sure the fuel vent ends on the floor of the buggy or dumps on the blue chrome?

- Don't know why you use a welder with CO2, your breath has CO2. You could just blow on the welds as you go...

PDM was a outstanding pick, it is good having him in STF but I am letting it go into the general population to get ready for March's. Only problem now is seeing what he is coming up with next.

Anybody ever have a suggestion (with info) go ahead and submit it to one of the mods for consideration.
