Man, sign me up for one of those 2L Oettinger engines! My 003 AT won't mind the extra twist 8) Never knew anyone did hop-up jobs on the T4's like this, really neat article.

There were some hopped up Type 4's built in South Africa as well. I think there was a thread here at one point and there is a fairly recent thread on the samba about such things.
