You can directly upload//inline pics here as long as they are <800x600 and <120kb. jpg or png.
Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

Well I have got another distributor. Now going with a 9437-B EMPI SVA vacume advance distributor. It says I will need to get a Bosh blue coil (3.4 ohms primary/12th ohms secondary) with built in resistor. Anybody have one of those coils?

Hi, just curious if your drawings have dimensions such that one could build one of these vehicles or at least a frame. would you be willing to make drawings available for download or sale?

Happy new year. Interesting idea on doing a blueprint of my buggy. I will have to look back at some of my drawings. I know I had some dimensions but they started cluttering up the drawing. This is not a true DPV frame due to not starting with a Chenoweth frame. There is a post from a guy that found a real DPV & is restoring it.

Scott, the vehicles you typically see in pics are based on the Magnum DR2 chassis, which are almost as hard to find for sale as the real Desert Patrol Vehicle chassis's. You can get the basic shape though (therefor saving some of the work Gorth did) by getting a Chenowth 4LWD chassis and I've seen them for as little as a $1000.
I see there is a guy on CL in Arizona selling one now with a trailer for what appears to be a reasonable price.
The DR2 is longer and wider than the 4LWD and Gorth's chassis, but you can get a pretty similar look by going this route. I've got pics of an actual DPV I'm restoring in another thread in this forum.
