Six-seven Turbo Projekt

Post by Hotrodvw »

This is going on my 78x90.5 motor. FK7, AutoCraft 1.4's, Berg Wedgemated crank/12lb flywheel, 5.5 Eagle Rods, and 40x35.5 heads w/ some porting work. Here are some more pics of what I've been up to:

I polished my carb manifold yesterday at my parents' house:

Today, I got to working on my header and my intake end castings getting them ready for welding:

Mo bigger!

Then on to the aluminum thingys:

Then I hacked off the input side of them, and hogged them out also...these will have 2" OD inlets now:

Got some welding done....

This still needs to be cleaned up

This will be my center section "T"

And the Goods!

Got a bit of time in the man cave, did some fitting, trimming, clocked the turbo for positioning, etc.... this is gonna be a snug fit in there. I'm going to have to modify the alt. stand in the cradle area. it's not a crucial area, but it's encroaching on my power adder space. 8)
