front apron

can anyone describe the way to replace the front apron ? and would the quality of one from mid-america be ok? they are close to me and shipping would be free as there is a dealer for them in town here thanks

There are few choices for VW body parts. Most companies buy from the same suppliers. As long as the inner front 1/4 panels are not bent the job is straight forward. Use a spot weld cutter to remove all the old welds. Trial fit the new apron with pop rivits to make sure it fits and the trunk opens.
