Headliner Alternatives?

Offroad VW based vehicles have problems/insights all their own. Not to mention the knowledge gained in VW durability.

I don't have a build thread, just been visiting on others threads since Feb. '07 when I started the suspension upgrades. I owe Copper some pics but haven't downloaded them yet. I'm old and slow...there's three registrations with tag stickers for this car sitting on my desk...tells you just how slow I am!

p.s. if you search anzan back to '07 you'll see some of the early pics.

Sound like you just need to top that new paint job off with some tasteful desert pinstriping!

I'm having trouble with my server and just can't take time off from working on the car to wait on the computer to do its thang! Got the windshield and both back windows in today. Man, does that new black rubber look good against the gray paint. The two colors I got for my pinstripes are burnt orange and kind of a burgandy. Might get to that tomorrow.

Copper, I got a great camera, it's just that my server bogs down when I try to upload pics. I have to walk away to keep my sanity! But I promise, honest!

What did you use to make those...or was it something you bought and welded on the tube?

The guy( now deceased) that built my cage 25 years ago built those mounts so I can't really answer your question. He was a fabulous fabricator named 'Dunebuggy Dave Dunbar. I'll follow your suggestion and start a 'rebuild thread".

Figured I owed it to this thread to post my headliner alternative. Two coats of bedliner in a medium gray color.
