412 sighting in a movie...

Post by raygreenwood »

Ok...so it was Juvenile movie but it was fun and it was only $1 rent.

But...In last years "transformers" movie, in the first half hour when the spec-ops soldiers are attaked at the Mosque by the mechanical sand scorpian...you see a close-up snippet of a dusty yellow 412 with rusty VW hubcap on the left side of the screen. Use your pause button.

Only "we" would notice this in the background.... Ray

It seems to take the word "obsessive" to new heights for me!!

Pretty cool though, never thought you would see many glimpses of them in films.

Does this mean they were once a fairly common sight?

If your really into watching old bad and obscure movies, just to see old cars. there is a really old jodie foster movie ( she is like 12 or something )called the little girl down the lane, shot in Nova scotia in which a 412 varient makes a cameo.

 Damn! Even caught that marathon blue 412 4-door I saw in a couple episodes of Kojak! Someone has way too much time on their hands! :)
