What spec urethane for radius arm do-nuts?

Post by wshawn »

Did ask this question on the centre-link topic but thought it might deserve it's own question space, so sorry to ask it twice

Any way to cut a long storey short I am having the front end of my 412 rebuilt as per the Ray Greenwood method of delrin bushes, audi inserts, etc, etc...

The one bit of info I have struggled to find is the spec for the radius arm do-nut bushes. I found and read ubercraps reproduction but all I can seem to find is the fact that they need to about 50 duron.

I have spoken to my supplier and they cast it in mininmum rod lengths of 500mm (so I'll end up with stacks of the stuff) and they can make it too any shore hardness I require.

Therefore can someone enlighten me as to the correct diameter and thickness of them so that I can order the correct urethane to make them up from and could I use the same stuff to form the bush that sandwiches between the front axle carrier and the vehicle body at its central mounting point?

Be very careful in your material selection, the ones I made are no good.
