I just noticed. Where did the banner ads go?

I guess I might be way behind, but the banner ads have dissappeared. Is this temporary or will they return?

All ads have been gone for about 3 years. No advertising outside the For Sale sections. There are many vendors posting here who are well known and are good at respecting our "no ads" policy. We think their reputations are substantially enhanced by their willingness to assist others with their often amazing knowledge.

The "no ads" policy? Let's just say it's "For Your Aircooled Pleasure"

I actually liked most of the ads. I have been gone a while, but I didn't think it was three years.
