Trey's 60 baja build thread

Offroad VW based vehicles have problems/insights all their own. Not to mention the knowledge gained in VW durability.

went down to colorado, and picked up a fiberglass front with tilt mount. sure glad i found a used one local! saved me a good bit of money. the fit wasnt too great, so i spent most of the day grinding and sanding to make it fit. my arms itch, but its my own fault. it got up to 40 and i was outside grinding. started to get pretty warm, so i took my jacket off. i hate fiberglass. so what do you guys think so far? should i keep the tilt mount, or go with a double tube bumper? i cant decide!

I got a set of the FOA coilovers with the rezis. They look really great. I have not mounted them yet. I am about to build a new frame. I will use them on the new frame.
