I once had a motor that did the same as your describing. After many hours of banging my head changing timing, jets, ect.ect. I put in a set a COLD NGK spark plugs. I actually got in trouble because the car now reved freely to 7000rpm & pulled unbeleavably. Start with the cheapest easiest things first. good luck.

motor not running right
Hey guys, I just wanted to say that I am experiencing the same thing with mine. Yeah i hooked everything up Saturday night. I put in a vaccuum fitting after drilling into the manifold, but it is 1/8" id. Upon driving the car, I did not hear the wastegate open, and I barely heard the blow off valve. Also It does not pull past 4k rpm. I had 155 mains with turbo emulsion tubes, and it hesitated when I floor it. I changed the mains to 115 and it seems to not hesitate as bad, but it still does not rev past 4k rpm. I do not even feel the boost kick in. I have the wastegate boost line going to the intake plumbing, and the regulator and BOV going to the vaccuum fitting. It does however go faster than it did before at 4k. What do you guys think is going on. I have a Nology Coil that is a lot better than standard, so I do not know if it is ignition.
