yeah I just ran mine out of the box. Try to place the pump in the airstream if possible, as this will help to keep it cool. Do not run any kind of pressure regulator, just let the pump free flow. Laters.

sorry, forgot to mention that the oil needs to gravity drain to pump for best results. So don't mount the pump higher than the turbo oil drain!
