I have a very silly question about the B trannys. Is there a breaking period for them, or can they be installed, and ran the hell out of ?

I will more than likeyl be placing an order by the end of the month for one, to put in the Ghia with the 2270.

Install it. Add oil.

Dump the clutch.

That is what I plan on doing Jake! ;)
Is there a gear lube of choice for the tranny?

Now I'm confused. On the store it says cryo. is an option.

But the rest of the internals are not cryoed...

I do not advertise the trannys with cryo, and it has only become a standard on the "B" in the last 8 months...

 "It" arrived today, can't wait to throw it in, although it will be a couple weeks to a couple months. I'll post some pictures of my progress as soon as I get started.

Jake I have a question about the tire size I'll be running with the new transmission. With the gearing, what would be a better size for mostly city driving and road trips/and short freeway cruising around 65-70 MPH, 215/45/17 @ 24.62" or 215/50/17 @ 25.46" (rounded up to 25.5"?
Thanks,
Paul
