Anyone use this thing They are on sale up here. Run on 115V, welds upto 3/8" on 20A fuse (20% load time). It's a real MIG, even comes with a regulator already . All the consumables are interchangable with the parts from Lincoln (I made the guy open about six different packages of things from Lincoln to make sure that everything would fit ). It's only $300 (on sale from $450), and the Lincoln "MIG pack10" is $600 (so is the "MIG pack15" for that matter). Are these worth it?

Don't know if you have a Lowes up there but they have a Lincoln 175 PRO MIG on sale for $594.00 The unit is 220 volts and all you need to add is the bottle. I paid 500 for my Hobart 175 three years ago. The add says you can get an auto darkening helmet free with mail in rebate.
I picked up the MC 115V one tonight. Welded up front beam mount rails like a charm. On flux wire Should be a beauty on gas.
They did have the Lincoln MIG pack 15 (230V) on for 599, and all you need to add is gas, but for now this will have to do far now. It was a bit of a stretch for me to even get this one. We will be in a far better place in 3-5 years for me to spend the extra for a 230V system. There is a huge difference in the heat that's for sure. I did a bunch of welding using my friends Hobart (230V) and it was amazing how easily it penetrates thicker metals.
