The injector spray pattern will work better if you could attach directly to the heads...
Hows the spacing to the ports directly?
Looks like a righteous combo. with some long injector stacks/runner plenum setup?

zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

yes it would, however, not enough room in my 914 for that
I still might weld new injector bungs to the manifolds to get the spray closer to the valves....the centerline spacing is off by 1mm or less than 3/64s of an inch....not too bad....I can easily make them line up perfectly if I want due to the individual design of the TB's.....

Thinking of a 1-3/2-4 dual plenum, setup, pair of 35-40mm would be about right.
The injectors on the T4 need to go in just about horizontal...
Too bad they don't fit, the 914 has plenty of room in that area, kinda surprising.

these are 45mm bores...recommended size by Jake for my new motor
I "could" just about bolt the TB's directly to the head, but getting decent aircleaners on them would be difficult....for a street car, the additional hp gained from it wouldn't be worth it.....I'm betting same for the location of the injectors, unless I throw it on a dyno I would never notice the difference for a daily driver
i have used this set up a lot .DO not put the throttle body on with that bracket use the rubber hose it come with this cut down on heat on the throttle body when it come time to tune the car you will not be unhappy with that set up
i use it for ford/ honda /nissan/ air and water cooled v dubs the secret is out
for air filters use trumpet socks
also good for turbo

I planned on running the phenolic spacers that are usually between the head and the stock runners....as for heat transfer I figure it should be no different than running Jeveys or TWM throttle bodies.
what manifolds were you using?

I ended up taking the easy way out on this project.....I milled off the top of the manifold and will simply clamp the throttle bodies directly to the manifold. I will have a bracket to align the t/b's to each other and will make another small bracket that'll go from the t/b's to the manifold to offer a little bit more support...and yes, the milled area is offset on purpose to match the inside profile of the throttle body...the injector will spray right on the backside of the valve
