Questions about a turbo from a Subaru

I have the opportunity to get a complete Subaru turbo system from a 1985 XT with a 1.8 engine. My motor is a 2176, will the turbo work with my motor? What type of turbo comes on the Subaru and is it worth my time to even mess with it?

The setup is free if that makes any difference.

Take a look at this web page. It will help you to narrow down your decision. It says the subaru has an IHI brand turbo, which I have heard are good quality. It might be too small for you big stroker though (according to the chart) I hope this helps.-Brian
