HORSEPOWER ESTIMATE

It depends on so many things that any figure would be pretty meaningless unless it was all setup properly,
But a stab in the dark 17 second 1/4 & 70 horse

well www.lowbugget.com has a turbo kit that made a stock 1600 put out 120 hp at 3800 rpm at 8 pounds of boost on 92 octane. Their track run with it was a [email protected] mph. There is some more info at the site, just go to it and click on 1600T. Hope this helps.

His (AJ's) was home built before it was made as a kit. No reason you can't get the same specs! He also uses the same carb.

A stock 1600 dual port Ran high 16. seconds at about 78 mph with a single bbl carb on the old Rajay kit the mere addition of a larger venturi to the car netted a 25 hp increase.....the 2 bbl Webber should get you into the 15 second range with no trouble.... AJ's car was stock save for ported stock valve heads and hd springs a to3 was part of the deal....are you sure the mitsu turbo is compatable with a drawcthru type setup???? Good luck and keep us all informed Dan
