Wastegate Actuator Signal
On my blow thru set up I've taken the wastegate actuator signal at the compressor outlet. (The fitting was already there). According to my reasearch this offers the best control over the wastegate, the least amount of heat, but has the slowest spool up time. I've noticed that the CB Performance kits take the signal from the intake manifold. This area is supposed to create the most heat in the system, but offers the best response. According the the book "Maximum Boost", this location should only be considered when turbo response is of the highest importance and the extra heat in the system tolerated or ignored. For the hell of it I've swapped locations to see if there was any big difference and could not sense any. Have any of you guys that run, or have run the CB kit swapped wastegate signal locations, and did you see any difference?

Wastegate Actuator Signal
I read the same stuff you have and decided to split the difference and locate my wastegate signal on the T-pipe directly below the split.
