www.airspeedparts.com has a few of my welded fans on the shelf if you need a replacement.

Thanks James. I have a replacement coming for it. If it's crooked too (I doubt it will be), I will hit them up for one.

LOL. I'd HATE to do the FBD on that stand.

Well, here is where I am at today. I am going to go ahead and run it in with the old fan, and then swap out for the new one when I get ready to install it.

Just got some details to take care of now, plumbing, linkage, etc..

Anyone as excited as me? How could you be?

I've never had luck with the oil fittings you are using for your full flow, might want to try this:

These are pretty much guaranteed not to leak with the hose that I have for them. If they do, I'll switch over before I put the engine in.

On another note, I just ordered my cut to length aluminum pushrods about two or three days ago, and they already showed up. John C is the greatest.

Is that "push-lok" hose? Nothing wrong with that as long as you use oil compatible. Plus no hose clamps needed.

So.. question:

Would NOT having a bushing in the bellhousing cause a starter to stick on and continue to run, and not want to disengage until I cut the main power?

mark seems reasonable to me if you are using a bushing type starter it could "@@@@" and stick. Wayne

It's on my engine stand.. It's a T2 bellhousing that should have a bushing. I just didn't have one and was lazy, so I tried to crank my engine over with it to make sure it was gonna work, and it stuck. It may be the starter too I guess, if it is sticky itself. I have another starter in my car that is basically new that I can try, but I will get a bushing first and see if that takes care of it.

Only a few details away now. Flywheel on, all oil gallery plugs and slugs in, just need to finish a little plumbing and get it primed, install the electric fuel pump and tank, run gas lines, install linkage, set up crankcase ventilation, install the ignition, install pushrods and rockers, and off we go.
