How about a real FAQ page.

There is such a huge database of info on this site, it would be a shame to see it fade away, buried among a billion pasts.

I was thinking the same thing. Once a week it seems someone is asking for step by step instructions on how to take the body off the chassis or how to remove an engine. Stick it and lock it.

The only problem after that is getting people to look at it before they post. :P

you can move topics into other forums, right?

maybe create a sticky/faq forum, and put all the good topics in there.

just an idea

OK. This a great idea, but I don't yet know how to do it short of reviewing old topics ad nauseum and working for 5 years to put a good FAQ together. Two things occur to me to get this started. First, I need help. So, as a start, I'm putting the call out. Who can help? I need experienced STF hands who have been watching the board for a long time. Searoy, you seem a prime candidate.

Secondly, we need to apply some organization to the effort and we need to start somewhere. I suggest we develop a list of 10 "FAQ worthy" topics to start with. Again, I am putting the call out. Please email me your top 10 FAQ topic list.

Once I get a couple of commited assistants and a top 10 list, I think we can make a start.

What do you say?
