My bug project caught on fire. I got carried away when welding my wheel houses in. The flames rose 3by3 in feet . I dash to get the first extinguisher. I put it out.
I wont to know what I am sapose to do with the fire extinguisher. It looks like it can be recharged because it has needle that can point to recharge or overcharge.
its a fireextinguisher that left silica all over no foam just sand
I don't wont my parents finding out . I clean up everything.
Oh my brother saved my life

Look in your yellow pages under fire protection services. There should be a company that recharges them.........or you could blow air in there to make it look full....

Don't beat yourself up about it...
You had an extinguisher, you knew where it was, when the time came you got it and used it. Speaking as a ten year full time fireman, I think you are about as smart as they come. You would be suprised how many people would stumble around and panic in your shoes. Good work!
Like everybody else said, check the yellow pages.

The extinguisher must be taken to an extinguisher shop and refilled. Once an extinguisher is used, it must be recharged, even if you didnt use it all. The reason is that extinguishing material gets into the valve and the next time you try to use it the stuff will be dried up and the extinguisher will not work.
