How cool it runs...
I gotta say that the my engine with the dtm runs cooler than my old stock T1 engine ever did. steady on both sides barely breaks 250 speeding down the hiway - thanks Jake

You see, Jake swiped the ice maker off his refrierator and put it inside the DTM. Now if everybody started doing this, no one would have ice makers on their frig anymore. So the only responsible thing to do is keep it quiet. Now if you really want to see the pics you gotta be nice. I mean if it were me, I'd only show them to my friends.
Crimson, I'm glad you finally are enjoying your ride. I don't know how you can stop driving long enough to post! Stay cool.

Crimson, I'm also glad to see Nickies set #002 finally on the road. I'd love some pictures and a testimonial for our upcoming revamp of the LN site. We can all see now that a DTM and Nickies are a perfect (and proven) combination!

i guess im all screwed up from taking some time off from this place lol. i thought 375 would be an ideal temp to run with cast iron cylinders. i run between 350 and 410(when flooring it in 4th at 2000 rpms) on my 2513(74X104mm) engine. ive never had a problem with it running funny or lose of power when it gets that high. please fill me in.

At 375+ with a big bore cast iron cylinder, they like to start egging and doing all kinds of wierd stuff that eventually ends to loss of compression. Nickies can run reliably at 375+ temps, but do tend to run significantly cooler and thus make more power per cc than a similary configured cast iron cylinder'd engine.
