Hi Jake,
In your testing, what gave higher EGT's : engines with higher compression ratio or the ones with lower CR?

without a doubt- Lower CR.
Higher CR gets the fire started and over before the exhaust event ever begins. Low CR pigs still have a burn occuring when the exhaust valve begins its event.
Inefficiency kills EGT.

I set mine to run 1150 or so at wide open throttle with a 75BHP load...
