type IV vs. turbo

Does anyone have any imput on using a Type IV motor vs a turbo charged motor {maybe a 2017?}. What are the benefits and major disadvantages of the Type IV conversion. Any transaxle recommendations?

Jake,

I kinda want the best of both worlds. I want some serious HP but I don't want to tear apart my engine every month. How unreliable are the Type I's {how often do you rebuild}? Why is the power more radical than the IV's? Is it higher rev's? I am very interested in how that turboed IV turns out? Will it fit under the lid? What are you looking at for HP?
